Lydia
Lydia is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College with a B.A. in music (concentration: voice and piano) She did graduate work at Boston University School of Fine Arts and has taught general music at the elementary and secondary level. She was introduced to Music Together by her (adult) daughter, a dancer and M.T.teacher in California, and it made her feel as though she had found the missing piece. Thirty three years singing with the Choral Arts Society of Washington, and additional years singing with various church choirs and community theatre productions has been wonderful, but completing Music Together training in August 2011 was even more exciting. Lydia is the mother of 4 children and grandmother of 2. What a privilege to be able to pass on the joy of music.
